Wellness Doesn't Take a Spring Break

Hey everybody! It’s Palmer, back again for another Wellness Ambassador Blog! As I’m sure everyone knows, spring break is quickly approaching. Just because it’s a break from school, doesn’t mean it has to be a break from wellness. No matter if you’re going home, going to the beach, or just sticking around Clemson, there are tons of ways to stay well.

[if !supportLists]1. [endif]Make Time for Yourself. Being in school means a lot of time spent surrounded by other people. Class, clubs, and activities are a bunch of stimuli that can take a toll after a couple of months. Over break, make a conscious effort to find some quiet alone time, and try to prioritize yourself and your health.

[if !supportLists]2. [endif]Reflect on the Semester. Spring break means we’re over halfway through the semester, believe it or not. Time flies, and it’s easy to get caught up in everything and forget to take time to think about how your life’s going. Over break, reflect on the semester. What’s going well? What can you be doing better? Am I investing enough in myself and my wellness?

[if !supportLists]3. [endif]Have Fun! Having fun is a salient aspect of your wellness. Whether it’s with friends, family, or by yourself, spring break is a relaxing, rejuvenating week to meant to reward your hard work so far in the semester, and prepare you for the rest of the way. Get some sleep, get outside, and be mindful of all the wonderful things around you.

Spring Break is a great time to get caught up on everything. Focus on yourself, stay mindful, and get ready for the last few months of school. As always, thanks for reading and see ya next time!
